Get Shot
So in my uh...(counts on fingers) 15 years of surfing I have had only 2 photos taken of me doing what I love. Both of which were low fi and super blurry (in a bad way, not in a cool artsy way).
So upon moving to Bondi I was hassled by a friend of mine to get shot by Aquabumps (an awesome gallery and daily e-mail) but despite my morning ritual surf no joy. That is until the guys at Almond shaped me the MOST amazing board I've ever ridden.
Since then the shots, and the board have been flowing.

The Go See
A couple of weeks back I had the fortunate pleasure of meeting up with Mr Simon Perini. He did the gratious thing by turning me on to a sweet little pointbreak and gave me a micro tour of the pretty town he calls home.
He gave me a heads up on a show he's doing with some buds of his and now its all set in place you should ink the date into your diary with blood (or biro, the choice is yours)
Even if you cant make it you should check the blog for the show (even shows have blogs now!). A LOT of talent between them.

Noos ahhhhhh
In a couple of days I'll be heading up the coast to the oh-so lovely noosa for a little break and to check out the Noosa Festival of surfing. With the ozzie premier of Stoked and Broke, (the first maybe?) finless contest and the oppertunity to see some grade A surfing and meet some folks it should be all kinds of wonderful.
I'll be selling some T's, boardies and art at the market on Thursday too so if you're heading there too. feel free to swing by and shoot the shit for a bit. I'll be giving away free high fives all day.

Almond surfboards are hitting Australian shores soon which works out nicely as I live on an Australian shore.
The above photo is of some Almond boards headed to the all new 6Oz which I half inched from Simon Perinis blog who knicked them from Almond who I'm pretty sure didn't pinch them from Photographer Cam Oden who made them using hes own eyes, fingers and the right amount of captured light.

Howler Bros
Another T with a bit'o seamouse splashed on it.
Randomly Howler Bros are based in Texas but are stoked on surfing as much as the next guy.
Although I've yet to see the product in the flesh, their stuff looks top quality.
